My Absolute Favorite MCAS Tool: Healy!

This post discusses my favorite MCAS tool: Healy.

What is Healy

Healy is a portable device that uses micro-current frequency programs to boost your health, vitality, and well-being. You can use Healy as a wearable frequency device, you can vibrate frequencies to yourself through the quantum field, or use it to deliver beneficial micro-currents using electrodes or third-party TENS accessories. Healy frequencies are directed using two apps that work on either Android or IOS devices. With the Pink App, you can choose specific issues you want to address. With the Blue App, you can have Healy analyze your energy field, and have it determine which frequencies would be most beneficial to you in real time.

This post describes getting the most out of Healy.

And this post provides the pros and cons of using Healy.

What is FSM?

Healy is a type of Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM) — that uses a tiny amount of electricity that runs through the body via a device clipped to clothing, electrodes, wristbands, or ear clips — for detox, to address specific infections and conditions. Microcurrents can be used for vagal health, to calm MCAS, to aid sleep, and for injury to the body in general. I have used FSM for several years and have found it to be a wonderful adjunct therapy while addressing underlying infections and other triggers.

In fact, I used FSM for several years and literally wore my unit out — to sleep better, heal vagus nerve injury, detox, and treat specific infections. Unfortunately, I had MCAS reactions to the electrodes, and quickly tired of dealing with the magnetic converter cords that were constantly becoming tangled in my sleep. Plus the “mode” button wore out making it unusable!

Benefits of Healy over traditional FSM

I was immediately sold on how much easier Healy is to use compared to the cumbersome FSM machine I had been using. It’s much smaller, and for most programs, you don’t need electrodes. No more sticky electrode residue on my skin causing MCAS irritation and reactions! Yay!

Healy comes in several models, and a couple of them can even analyze your energy field to determine which programs are most beneficial to run for your current issues, suggest dietary and lifestyle changes, and assist with overcoming chronic unhealthy patterns.

Ways to use Healy for MCAS

There are a myriad of ways to use Healy to address MCAS, including programs for:

In addition, Healy can be used for healing general conditions, acute illnesses, mental states, and injuries. There are literally millions of frequency programs that can be applied to make you feel better.

What is MCAS?

Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) is a chronic condition that affects all organ systems. MCAS is serious and disabling and people with MCAS often experience significant and debilitating symptoms daily, including anaphylaxis, which can be fatal.

MCAS is often found in combination with other chronic conditions such as Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) and Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS).

Frequently healthcare providers do not know about MCAS, and the tests for MCAS are problematic because they are not uniformly reliable. MCAS can be difficult to manage. Treatments include blocking mast cell mediators with anti-histamines and mast cell stabilizers and avoiding triggers.

Check out this post on how to manage MCAS.

The bucket theory

The bucket theory offers a helpful analogy for understanding symptom reactions with MCAS.

Think of your body as an empty bucket that you want to keep from overflowing. Different foods and activities fill your histamine bucket at different speeds but they combine to form the total level of histamine in your body (how full your bucket is). A fuller bucket means you have more histamine symptoms. When you manage triggers, reduce exposure to known triggers, and take medications and supplements to reduce histamine, you can manage the level of your bucket.

Know your typical symptom progression

Knowing your symptom progression in a symptom flare is the key to developing your own rescue plan. In this post, I discuss how to determine your own symptom progression. Once you know what typically happens in your symptom progression you can design a rescue plan to address those symptoms.
