“Owie” Essential Oil Blend

This essential oil blend is very potent and is useful for muscle soreness, nerve pain, and achey joints. Choose essential oils that are organic, and sourced responsibly.

20 drops Birch (Betula lenta) essential oil (note – do not use if you are sensitive to salicylates)
15 drops Helichrysum (Helichrysum italicum) essential oil
5 drops Peppermint (Piperita Indian) essential oil
30 drops Black Pepper (Piper nigrum) essential oil
15 drops Blue Tansy (Tanacetum annum) essential oil (note – can stain white fabrics)

Place all ingredients in a roller bottle. Test a small amount on your skin first for sensitivity. Use sparingly.

This information is for educational purposes only and I’m not a medical doctor so this does not constitute medical advice! Talk to your trusted healthcare practitioner for what is best for you and your skin.

Don’t use “bargain” essential oils. Some tested from online sources have been found to be tainted with dangerous chemicals. Always rely on the Latin name of the plant to make sure you are using the correct one. In addition, pay attention to the location they are grown because essential oils can vary considerably based on the geographical location. My trusted essential oil sources are Quella and Stillpoint Aromatics.
