Ingredient notes for this lymphatic drainage solution
I’ve tried many other lymphatic creams and have had mast cell reactions to many of them, from itching to full-on hives.
Earthley Lymphatic Cream comes in unscented, and it only has eight ingredients.
It is also free of:
- Parabens
- Fragrance
- Preservatives
- Allergens (soy, corn, dairy, tree nuts, gluten, peanuts, sesame, fish)
Why this lymphatic drainage solution?
Earthley says, “Lymphatic Cream is a lotion created to help relieve achy parts of the body caused by swollen lymph nodes. This cream tackles lymphatic congestion at the source and gently encourages drainage to help detox, reduce soreness, and improve overall wellness.”
I was searching for a lymphatic cream because I have lymphatic congestion. But every product I tried — even super expensive ones — caused skin and respiratory reactions every time. But when I found Earthly Lymphatic Cream I was pleasantly surprised to not have any reactions!
How to use it
I like to apply a small amount of the lotion to my neck in the morning and evening. I also use it twice a week for breast massage.
Earthley says, “Rub on sore lymph nodes throughout the body to encourage drainage.”
What is MCAS?
Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) is a chronic condition that affects all organ systems. MCAS is serious and disabling and people with MCAS experience often significant and debilitating symptoms daily, including anaphylaxis, which can be fatal.
MCAS is often found in combination with other chronic conditions such as Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) and Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS).
Frequently healthcare providers do not know about MCAS, and the tests for MCAS are problematic because they are not uniformly reliable. MCAS can be difficult to manage. Treatments include blocking mast cell mediators with anti-histamines and mast cell stabilizers, as well as avoiding triggers.

The bucket theory
The bucket theory offers a helpful analogy for understanding symptom reactions with MCAS.
Think of your body as an empty bucket that you want to keep from overflowing. Different foods and activities fill your histamine bucket at different speeds but they combine to form the total level of histamine in your body (how full your bucket is). A fuller bucket means you have more histamine symptoms. When you manage triggers, reduce exposure to known triggers, and take medications and supplements to reduce histamine, you can manage the level of your bucket.

My thyroid nodule journey
Since developing Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) I learned that I also have thyroid nodules. I have tried many ways to detox and assist my body with lymphatic drainage to help ease the lymphatic congestion in my neck.
Since I started using Earthley Lymphatic Cream I’ve noticed that I have less puffiness in my neck. I wholeheartedly recommend this product if you are interested in a lymphatic cream. I also love to use it for breast massage.

Earthley Lymphatic Cream has a pleasantly plain scent. To my uber-sensitive nose, it is quite lovely, with just a hint of almond. Upon application, this lotion is quickly absorbed and is non-greasy.
